As you know all the bags are totally hand made by myself in our spare room. Their popularity is increasing and they are going fast. There will be a time in the future when I either change design or move onto something different because of the boredom factor ( it’s a little one woman sweat shop in here!)At present I am still fired up because I have a pile of gorgeous new fabrics waiting to be cut and stitched. I have 4 bags already patchworked, cut out ready to assemble into bags-watch this space. I am also looking at creating new designs which means that this particular design will be on the back burner for a while. In other words, if you see a bag that you like please grab it because I do not do repeats and every bag is unique.
The sockwool is up to date now but again I have only a few hanks of each colour. As I’ve said in the past, I LOVE JITTERBUG!!! I’ve tried all kinds of other sock wools but they don’t measure up. Remember the price includes postage so it’s a bargain and it washes in a machine. Gorgeous xmas presents-that’s what I do when I emerge from the bedroom to watch tele-I knit socks. Long journeys in the car enable me to lash them off -never a dull moment!!
On the health front-my kidneys are still hanging in there-just! I am convinced that giving up my market stall and my stress-free life keeps them functioning. I’m on the transplant list so I have to keep myself as healthy as possible. I go to our local Osteomyologist in other words he re-aligns everything through massage and manipulation-what ever magic he does-it works and he’s very reasonable. His name is Peter and his number is 01257 794986. Give him a call - he’ll make a difference. My daughter is an actress and whenever she comes home from London she visits Peter in order to keep fit and healthy. My son is a very successful personal trainer who does endurance events to “relax” at weekends and it’s essential that he keeps everything well aligned in order to be able to continue what he does.So thats me on a personal front and a big hello to all my customers from the motor home shows and the market- I do miss seeing you all- I met some lovely people through my little business. I’m pleased to say that 2 businesses have sprung up out of my one-so the wool trade continues to flourish. Keep in touch - let me know how you all are. Take care, Janet x

JITTERBUG HAS ARRIVED!!!

Jitterbug sockwool is now in again. I will update my shop tomorrow when I can photograph the wool in day light. FLORAL LAURA ASHLEY BAG

This is one of my favourites. It’s totally made with a heavy duty furnishing fabric by LAURA ASHLEY.  It has big mid green buttons and it is padded and lined with pretty pink floral cotton. As it is not made of patchwork I am selling this unique bag for just £25. It’s very like the old carpet bags-the material has a tapestry look.
